I went to Dallas with my mom and grandma for the Big 12 Tournament for my birthday and it was fun.  OU got out in the first round, before we even got to Dallas but we went anyway.  We left Saturday morning and we watched the OU women play that night because their tournament was in Dallas too.  It was the championship game and they won and it was pretty fun.  Then we were going to go the mens game to see Kansas and Texas play since we already had tickets for that game.  The game started at 2, so we went shopping for a while.  So we were on the way back to our hotel from a mall, driving down a busy Texas highway, and all of a sudden, the tread came off one of our tires.  It made a really loud noise and the car died so we just got over to the median of the inside lane and we were stuck there.  Then the car wouldn't start.  So we got the owners manual out and tried to figure out what was wrong with it and stuff.  Then eventually we just called the police because there wasn't anything else we could do really.  There wasn't anywhere we could walk to or anything.  So we called the police at 12:58.  Then we decided to get out of the vehicle because the cars were getting really close to us and it would have been disastrous if one of them would have hit us.  It was like 3 lanes going each way but there were 2 lanes in the middle with concrete walls separating them.  So we climbed over the little wall and we were just standing there.  Then after like 30 minutes the police still weren't there so my mom called the hotel driver who took us to the women's game the night before and asked if he could call a tow truck for us.  So he did.  Then finally some guy stopped to try to help us.  I was like aww, that's really nice of you.  Because like 3,000 cars had driven by and nobody stopped except him.  So he got out and looked at it but he couldn't figure out what was wrong with it so mom told him he could go since the tow truck was on the way.  Then he gave us a gallon of water he had in his truck.  We didn't drink it, but it was still a nice gesture.  What a nice guy. Then the tow truck got there about 2:00.  And the police STILL were not there.  It took him like 15 minutes to get it up on the truck and stuff, and the police never came.  We waited for them for an hour and a half and they never came.  Good thing we weren't dying or anything.  So the tow truck took us back to the hotel because there wasn't anywhere else to take it since it was Sunday and all the car places are closed on Sunday.  Then me and my mom had to walk to a gas station to get some starter fluid to see if it was the fuel pump that was messed up.  So we walked all the way down there and they don't even have any.  So we came back and my grandma called her brother, who is a mechanic, and he said that on newer cars (we were in my aunt's van, and it's pretty new) there's a button that resets the fuel pump.  So me and my mom went and found the button and tried it and it worked.  But we still had a flat tire.  So me and my mother put on the spare.  Before we started, my grandma was like...maybe I should go back in the hotel and see if there's a man in there who can do this for us.  But we told her no.  It isn't necessary to have a man to change a tire. Then after we got it on we took it to Sam's and they put a new tire on.  When we left there it was 6:20.  So we spent 1.5 hours stranded on the highway and then 3 hours trying to fix it.  It was quite a debacle.  It was fun though.  So we missed the basketball game obviously.

It's Spring Break...I love breaks.

OU lost by a lot today.  It was stupid.  Terrell made me mad a little bit...He had a lot of turnovers.  His turnovers kill me.  If we would have won, we would have been 9-0 against Texas teams this season.  But I guess 8-1 isn't too bad.  I can't wait until the tournament starts.

Ugh my favorite shows (Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy) weren't on tonight because of the Academy Awards.  That made me sad.

Me and Kaylee are going to the OU basketball awards banquet tomorrow.  That'll be fun.  You can get pictures with all the players and such.  This season has gone by really fast it seems like.

My birthday is the day after tomorrow.  yay.

The OU game starts in 18 minutes.  Yay.

The 8 and 9 buttons are messed up on my keyboard and it drives me crazy because whenever I push one of them, it writes 8 and 9.

I ordered a Kobe shirt like 4 weeks 3 weeks ago and I still haven't got it.  I go check the mail like every single day, hoping that it will be there, but it never is.

OK...I'm doing a survey...

Complete Obtuse and silly questions

1.  Have you ever taken something apart just to see how it worked?  No

2.  Do you ever yell at the television when you're alone?  I yell at the tv when I'm watching OU games or Lakers games even when I'm not alone.

3.  Name a few things (if any) that you bought on EBay recently.  Hornets/Lakers tickets

4.  Have you ever gotten into a fight with a complete stranger?  Oh my goodness yes.  This one guy at the mall.  I think we were fighting about Jason White.  He was dumb.

5.  Do you think that time travel is a possibility?  No

6.  Would you rather be perceived as intelligent or street smart?  Intelligent.

7.  Do you wear the same piece of jewelry every day?  Yes...OU necklace, All Day bracelet, Sooner Magic bracelet.

8.  Do you like your eggs cooked?  I don't like eggs.

9.  Do you like eminem?  Ugh...no.

10.  What's your favorite kind of apple?  green apples.

That was fun.

OU finally won a game today...That's good news.  It was really close though.  And we didn't score very many points.  I guess I'm not mad at Terrell Everett anymore.  Because he made a 3 at the end and pretty much won it for us.  It made me happy.

I went to the Special Olympics today. With some of our other STUCO people.  We were volunteers and it was fun.  I liked it.  So maybe we're going to go back in May.  It's in Stillwater that time though...It was in Norman today.  We did the basketball skills challenge and me and Lindsey were in charge of the rebounding station thing.  It was fun.  Then we gave them their medals at the end.

We don't have school Monday.  I'm excited.

It's almost time to go back to school.  Ugh.

OU won the Holiday Bowl.  How exciting.  17-14.  Stupid referees kill me.  Oregon had the ball and they called pass interference on Eric Bassey.  If the ball is uncatchable (Which it obviously was) it isn't pass interference.  It was stupid.  I love Adrian.  He did good.  He cut his head open on someone's helmet.  Someone on our team too.  Poor kid.  It makes me sad that OU football is over now.  But I love OU basketball so it's ok.  I went to the basketball game a few days ago with Kaylee and it was fun.  We were going to get Austin Johnson's autograph but he was talking to a bunch of people, like his family or something.  So we didn't.  Then we saw him driving beside us when we were leaving.  It was funny.
